Vacation! ^_^

At last, vacation!
Yet it'll be over in no time :(
For I'll be at the coast for at least 3 days. That's no hurray, because this means a lot of walking, a crappy bed, and worst of all: no computer. My teachers were kind enough to give me loads of homework so I wouldn't be bored during this week without school. How considerate of them...

Anyway, I used to promise to post my school results here, never did that. Until now ;)
Here are my results of my first rapport-card of this year:

• Geography: 10/10
• Biology: 8.5/10
• Chemistry: 7/10
• English: 8/10
• French: 7/10
• Fysics: 7/10
• Latin: 8.5/10
• PE: 7.3/10
• Dutch: 7.5/10
• Math: 8.5/10
• History: 8.5/10

Not that bad is it ;)

Flock

This is a quick test of the new (kick-ass) browser called flock.

I'm not even on my blog right now, yet I am writing this post :p
All thanks to the sweet 'create a blog post' function.

This new browser looks really good, it seems to built from the FireFox code, but with a very cool skin, and lots of new (and cool!) features.

Now I'm going to press publish and see what happens :p

mePlacebit

Me and Tim have been discussing this for quite a while, and now we've finally started:
a school blog, codenamed mePlacebit, for all students of KA Erasmus.
The concept is still the same as described in a few posts below.
Currently I'm busy with the design, picking the colors, making a banner,...

We should be ready for release by the first vacation (in two weeks).

I've said it for a long time, but now I'm actually going to do it to:
I'm going to learn a programming language :P

Yeah yeah, I know, "big deal", just that I've had a pc (of my own) ever since I was six, and I still can't write my own software!
I'm thinking of starting with an older language: (Visual) basic. When I master that one, I'll go on to .NET and some website related codes like PHP.

I've never done any programming before (except for those few apps in Pascal) so I have no idea what I should learn first or in what order... but I'm sure I'll find out pretty quickly.

Now if you excuse me, I have to download, I mean buy MS Visual Studio...

No news, but an idea

No new avatar, yet.
But an idea for something completely different, inspired by Tim...
It's been done before, I'm sure of that, but we could do it too.
What is this idea?
A multi-user school blog. A place where all students could write stuff about what happened at school, what crazy stuff the teachers did, or what they did to the teachers, they could write what they think of what the school does for it's students, and what they would change,...
It could be funny, yet informative. A cool looking project IMHO.

Now to find people that would actually be interested in writing this sort of stuff...
After all, what is a blog, if there aren't any reporters?
