I have one of those vacation jobs in a local mall you see. When I applied for it I could only think of all the extra money I'd make... but now I know you have to give up all of your bloody precious time.
This is the first weekend I've had in two weeks! Luckily, tomorrow I get to start at 6AM, which means that I'll be done by 12 (I work 6 hours a day), that way I'll have the entire afternoon... to eat, because it's my parents' 25th aniversary. Big party (don't tell my mom, it's a surprise).
Anyhow, I found a way to use my pda in linux: an application called Card Export II, which is made by Softick, emulates your storage card as a removable drive which is easily detected in Ubuntu.
Apps for my pda I can't live without anymore:
- Softick Card Export II
- psShutXP
- Wisbar Lite (1.1.0.4 beats MagicButtons with ease)
- iLauncher (One of the first today plugins I've seen that actually comes in handy and doesn't look bloated)
- Resco Explorer
- SpaceTime 2 Calculator (beats my TI-84 plus)
- TCPMP
- Agile Messenger
- Skype
- Tweaks2k2.net
- Amazing World
- Spot!
- Worms World Party
- Tomb Raider (One of the best ports I've seen so far, they really put the touchscreen to use)
- Age Of Empires
- Simcity 2000
- Wolfenstein 3D
Now that I'm actually making money, not just spending it, it seems like a good idea to make a wishlist...
- TomTom Mobile 5 (Bluetooth GPS) ~ €299,-
- Lego Mindstorm ~ €195,-
- A new computer ~ €1200,-
Let's see, that makes a total of ca. €1700,- I have €500, plus the €600 I get from my job... Oh my, that's not enough :(
I guess I'll have to buy that computer some other time then, perhaps on my birthday. Yeah, I should have enough money by November.
May The Force be with you,
Darth Bo
