Damn, I hate being born in November...
Anyhow, much has happened since the last time I blogged here:
- school started *shiver*
- I reformatted my hard drive
- Installed Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) with AIXGL/Beryl (I love the way it WORKS on my old crappy pc)
- I got a new "320GB" usb hard drive (298 actual GBs, what a rip-off)
- I never installed Windows again (yep, I've completely switched to Linux now)
- I watched my dad buy a Dell Axim X51v.
I know: I'll try convincing him that he really only needs a QVGA screen, so that he could have my pda, and I would take his. We could even call it a birthday present...
Talking about birthday presents, I really should try finding one shouldn't I? I'm open for suggestions here...
I also drew a bit, the usual 'anatomically correct human' tests, but also a few fun cartoons (no, no jpgs, sorry). Kelly, a friend from school, informed me (a bit late though) that I could make a sample design for our yearbook: everyone's allowed to make one, and then we'll pick the best one...
Hardcore readers of my blog already know this: I'm no designer. I wish I was, but I'm not. Not that this means I won't learn to: I even gave the yearbook ("Jaarboek") thing a shot... check it out:
Now don't tell me you didn't see that one coming ;)
