It's mobile, and yes it can run linux (and Doom)

I just noticed I never posted about a very important matter:
I bought a laptop :P
Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (Santa Rosa!!!) (2,2 Ghz, 800 Mhz, 4MB L2-cache)
2.048 MB 667 Mhz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
nVidia Ge Force Go 8600M GT (256MB DDR2 dedicated)
160 GB SATA (5.400 rpm)
Intel Pro wireless 3945
15.4" WSXGA+
Bluetooth 2.0
It's a Dell. A lot of people seem to be negative about them, I never really got why. They let me build my own laptop, they're not very expensive, THEY SUPPORT LINUX, and they make laptops with fancy colors :P (I built mine in Ruby Red).

I ended up buying this one after a long study I made of different brands/models and their capability of running Linux. I found quite a few nice ones, but most of the time I would find articles such as 'X and Y on this laptop don't work in Linux'. The only laptops that seemed to work most of the time were Dells. So there you have it, I configured a Dell Inspiron 1520 - at first I kept it cheap, but in the end I wanted more performance, so it ended up being €1760, whoops :P. I got a €50 discount and free shipping though. Nice.

But (there's always a but), it's been 'in preproduction' ever since August 1. The estimated shipping date is September 3 :(
That's the back-to-school period for ya.
